I was very satisified with the deal the dealer gave me and his overall attention to getting my boat ready, but I have been told for seven weeks that minor repairs that were promised would be done and they have not been. More importantly, no one bothered to call or explain.We simply find out it has not been done when we arrive at our boat each weekend. I have yet to finalize the sale as I wait for the repairs, but am at the point of just closing the deal and taking the bite to pay for someone else to complete the work. Buyer be sure ALL is done before yo pay a penny...

Not surprised he deactivated his account! We have filed complaint with BBB and Consumer protection agency after finding he failed to disclose hx of severe damage to boat, failure to purchase warranty that would have been void do to damage,and we still have not obtained title yet!! He has not responded to anything so attorney may be next

I HAVE PURCHASED BOATS FROM RYAN MARINE AND HAD ZERO PROBLEMS, SO I ASK RYAN ABOUT YOUR COMMENTS. THE DAMAGE YOU SPEAK WAS WARRENTY WORK TO THE LOWER UNIT I BELIEVE HE TOLD ME, A VALVO, AND PAID FOR BY VALVO BEFORE YOU EVER PURCHASED THE BOAT, AND YOU ARE THE THIRD OWNER NOW. WARRENTY WORK, RECALLS, ETC, IS NOT DAMAGE. THE SLOW WORK YOU MENTIONED WAS NOT DUE TO RYAN MARINE STAFF, BUT OUT SOURCED FIBERGLASS WORK YOU WANTED DONE, AND HE ADMITS THAT THE REPAIR MAN WAS SLOW, BUT THE REPAIRMAN IS EXTREMLY GOOD AND THE ONLY ONE AROUND HE KNOWS OF WHO DOES IN WATER REPAIRS, SO HE HAD TO WAIT TILL THIS MAN COULD DO THE WORK. THE REPAIRS WERE STRICTLY COSMETICS, AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE USE OF THE BOAT. AS FAR AS PAPERWORK YOU CHOSE TO DOCUMENT WITH THE COAST GUARD AND TO DO THE PAPERWORK YOURSELF TO SAVE THE FEES, AS RYAN MARINE OUT SOURCES DOCUMENTION. BUT REALLY USE THE BOAT ALL SUMMER WITH NO PROBLEMS AND THEN WANT IT BOUGHT BACK. ARE TIMES A LITTLE TOUGH AND YOU NEED TO MOVE THE BOAT? I THINK SO.
