I've used Lynnhaven Marine in Norfolk VA a couple of times in the 3.5 years I've owned this boat.
When the LED tail lights went out on my Roadking trailer barely a month after I bought the boat, they replaced them free of charge and showed me a box of bad LED trailer lights. After they went bad the 2nd time a few months later, I replaced them myself with cheap ones from Walmart and haven't had any trouble since. A few months after I bought the boat, I noticed that one motor was running about 300 rpm below the other at WOT. After finding no faults in the ECM, they sent the props out to be balanced and when that didn't work, they went into the motor and found a plastic lifting guard down inside the intake manifold. No charge for that service. Last summer I had 2 bad coil packs on the port motor and couldn't figure it out by swapping them around. I was out of warranty and they charged me 1 hr labor + parts.
I've called them twice on the phone for troubleshooting assistance, once for a bad trim relay switch and they told me to swap the plugs to get back to the dock. The other was for a suspected bad coil pack (it was 2 bad) and they didn't have any recommendation since I already tried to isolate it by moving coils around. No charge for either phone support.
Right after I bought the boat, they called to remind me of the 20 hour engine service. When I asked if the warranty would be voided if I didn't have a dealer do the 20 hour service, they said that it would not. I changed my own lower unit oil, inspected the plugs and wiring, and they didn't give me any hassle the when I had the 300 rpm difference a few months later.
I would not hesitate to recommend Lynnhaven Marine in Norfolk VA, they have treated my right, never tried to gouge me, and my boat was returned as clean as I dropped it off.
